temperature is too high, the resistance value of the thermistor will change, triggering a protection mechanism to prevent the motor from being damaged due to overheating.

Installation and maintenance of thermistor

Thermistors are usually installed in key parts of motors or frequency converters, such as motor windings, bearings, etc. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the thermistor

is in close contact with the monitored area to accurately reflect temperature changes. During maintenance, it is necessary to regularly check whether the connection of the thermistor is

secure and whether its surface is clean to avoid dust and dirt affecting measurement accuracy.

Common problems and solutions

Inaccurate temperature measurement: Check whether the contact between the thermistor and the measured part is good, ensuring that there is no dust or dirt.

Protection mechanism triggered incorrectly: Check if the installation position of the thermistor is correct and if the temperature setting of the frequency converter is reasonable.

Abnormal change in resistance value: Check whether the thermistor is damaged or aged, and replace it with a new thermistor if necessary.
